Ashley was my MTC companion and as most missionaries would agree, you never forget a companion, especially your very first one. Our first day in the MTC we found out that we were practically twins because we both studied music in college, had many brothers, we both had the middle name of "Lynn" although mine was spelled with only one "n", and we were about the same height...or "short" would be more correct. ;) I think even one of our pieces of luggage were the same. She had such a strong testimony that all she had to do was be present in a room to bring the Spirit in, she hardly had to say anything. I learned a lot from her regarding the Spirit. She lived what she taught and set a great example of the kindness the Savior emulated. I am confident that Ashley would not have needed even 1 more day in this life to prove her testimony of, and loyalty to her Father in Heaven.
