When I think about Ashley I smile. I love her laugh, her smile and her sweet spirit that you could always feel when she’s around. One of my favorite memories of Ashley was growing up with her in Young Women’s, especially attending girl’s camp together. There were many times we stayed up late and just laughed into the night. One of my favorite memories was when both Ashley and me were getting changed in the outhouses that were next to each other. If my memory was correct a mouse came running under her door and I never heard someone yelp so gracefully, it than run under the little opening that joining the two together where I was. I screamed over and over and panicked, and it ran under my door out. All I could hear was Ashley laughing at my response to the situation so hard. Then all of sudden the laughing stopped and Ashley said “shoot” very concerned, I found out that in all the commotion she had accidently knocked all of her clothes down into the toilet and there was no retrieval. We both giggled together. What a funny moment leaving the area together and walking across the campground to our sites she was half dressed in clothes and half in pajamas and me bright red from all the jumping and frantic movement. It still puts a big smile on my face when I think about the whole situation. She was so funny and so nice; I really looked up to her during those days and continued as we shared some time in together in our young adulthood. Thank you Ashley for all of the wonderful, fun, uplifting times that we shared. You are truly a magnificent, one of kind women. I know without a doubt you did your duty with the time you had on earth, the scripture of this site couldn’t have said it better “well done thy good and faithful servant”.
